Hoxton Street Monster supplies sells all kinds of weird and wonderful products to monsters, and occasionally opens its doors to humans too. I was commissioned to transform half of the shop area into a magical post office where children can write letters to monsters, choosing their new pen friend from a correspondence board full of lonely monster’s letters. Once posted via the special “Post Mortem” service, the children can expect a reply within a month from a yeti, an ogre, a werewolf, or other monstrous creatures. This service is part of the Ministry of Stories, a charity and mentoring organisation that supports children to explore creative writing.
